Fisherman’s Festival is an event held in many coastal cities all around the world. It will be held in Japan from 17th November to 20th November in Tokyo. If you love fish dishes or other seafood, then you must not miss it as people here love fish so much and they know the best ways to cook it.
Menus from seafood specialty shops in different parts of Japan will be provided, including grilled dish, stewed dish, soup, donburi (a bowl of rice served with a topping) and others. Some menus are generated from dishes created by Ryoshi (Fisherman in Japanese) so there is no doubt about the taste. Besides these traditional menus, new menus can also be expected.
Beer and other alcoholic drinks which are a good pairing for seafood are sold here. Booth from other parts of Japan will also join this event to introduce their local culture, history, and relationship with fish. Of course, a stage for the seafood-related talk show, dance and other performances are available so that you can have your mouth on the dishes and put your eyes on these performances.
