With the growing number of Muslim visitors traveling to Japan, JR Esat Group decides to set up a “Prayer Room” at JR Tokyo Station. The details of Prayer Room can be found below.
8:30 to 19:00 (closed earlier at 17:00 on weekends and holidays)
JR EAST Travel Service Center at Tokyo Station (outside JR Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit)
The prayer room can be used by two people at the same time. Ablution space is also available. You can use the intercom to call the station staff to open the prayer room for you.
This prayer room can be used by everyone regardless of his or her religion or denomination.
