What is the Toei Subway One-Day Pass?

The Toei Subway One-Day Pass is a limited-time ticket sold by the Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau that allows unlimited rides on all Toei Subway lines for one day. The pass is available only on weekends and national holidays, but it may be useful if you want to spend the whole day sightseeing in Tokyo.

The pass is sold only four times a year, in spring, summer, autumn, and winter, and the spring pass period always includes the Golden Week holidays. If you have a PASMO, you can add the One-Day Pass function to your PASMO.

Here are some tips for using the One Day Pass.

The first ride on the Toei Subway costs 180 yen, so if you need to ride more than three times, the One Day Pass is recommended.

However, if you travel more than 10 kilometers one way, the fare will be more than 270 yen, so even for a simple round trip, using the One Day Pass is a good deal.

In addition: What if I want to use Toei Bus and Toden as well?

The Toei Subway One-Day Pass does not allow you to use the Toei Bus or Toden. If you want to use the Toei Bus and Toden as well, the Toei Marugoto Ticket is recommended. It is also a one-day pass, but in addition to the Toei Subway, you can ride unlimitedly on Toei Buses, Toden, and the Nippori/Toneri Liner.

For more details, please refer to the Toei Marugoto Ticket website.
