Seibu Line and NTT Broadband Platform, Inc. will be providing free wi-fi at 7 major stations along Seibu line starting October 30th. By the end of the year, they plan to install free wi-fi at 23 stations.
The service’s top page will be available in 6 languages (English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Japanese). To connect to the wi-fi, users will sign in with their email address.
Seibu Free Wi-Fi will be on a mobile app “Japan Connected-free Wi-Fi” as well. Once the app is downloaded on the mobile phone and users register their email address, the app will automatically detect free wi-fi spots that are registered on the app.
