Tokyo Metro to Provide Free Wi-Fi in All Stations by June

Tokyo Metro has announced on February 4 that they will complete installing free wi-fi in all stations by June 1st this year. As of now, 108 stations have active free wi-fi. Starting this April, free wi-fi will be gradually available on the trains as well.

To use the Metro Free Wi-Fi at stations, you may sign up on Tokyo Metro browser that appears when connected to the wi-fi, or use a mobile app “Japan Connected-free Wi-Fi”. For one login, the internet connection will last for 3 hours.

The free wi-fi on the train can be connected via a mobile app “TRAVEL JAPAN Wi-Fi”. There’s no time restriction.

This will be surely very convenient for the travelers!
