Rice, miso, tofu, and vegetables… most of the ingredients used in traditional Japanese dishes are vegetarian. However, it might be difficult to distinguish if the food is really vegetarian or not since Japanese cuisine often contain “dashi,” which is fish stock. There are some vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Tokyo but most of them are located at a kind of place you need a map to get to. Advance research is recommended if you’re very strict about your diet.

Ain Soph. Journey / Ain Soph. Soar
