The first Tokyo Christmas Market held last year had more than 2,000,000 visitors in total. This year, it is coming back in Hibiya Park again from December 16th until 25th!
14m high wooden Chrismas Pyramid will appear in Hibiya Park. The pyramid is the same as the one placed in the Christmas Market in Dresden, Germany, and is the biggest in the world.
There will be 32 shops in the market selling various food mainly German and French, grew wine, cakes, as well as Christmas items such as ornaments directly imported from Germany and candles. On the stage, AnTon & the Jingle Bells, a band from Germany, and TAEKO GLORY & GAIKA PEASPEL CHOIR, a Japanese gospel group will perform.
Hibiya Park is an urban park. It is near the Imperial Palace and Shinbashi district. You could walk from the popular tourists’ shopping area Ginza/Yurakucho, too.
