JAL Launches Discount Fare for Overseas Visitors to the Kyushu Region

Japan Airlines (JAL) announced on June 17th that they have launched a new domestic fare named “oneworld YOKOSO/Visit KYUSHU Fare” for foreign visitors to Japan.

This fare is only available for the overseas residents who have return air tickets to Japan by oneworld member airlines. The price is 5400 yen per sector, and tickets for up to five sectors can be purchased.

This fare has been created to support the local economy in the Kyushu region hit by the earthquake in April.

Note:

1. This new fare is only available for the overseas residents.
2. This fare can be purchased only at JAL overseas reservation centers/Overseas travel agencies. It is not available in Japan.
3. It can be purchased only if your flights to and from Japan is by oneworld member airlines.
4. It can be purchased only if you have return air tickets to Japan.

Between

Tokyo (Haneda and Narita) / Osaka (Itami)

and

Fukuoka/Kitakyushu/Oita/Nagasaki/Kumamoto/Miyazaki/Kagoshima
(*Excluding flights operated by Jetstar Japan and Amakusa Airlines)

JPY 5,400 per sector (tax included)
(*Excluding Passenger faclity charge.)

Number of sectors can be purchased

One to five sectors

Changing reservation

Not eligible for the first domestic sector.
Date and flight can be changed for the remaining domestic sectors.
