Nippon(Japan) Local Specialties Fair 2016 (Nov.25-Nov.27)

If you are a gourmet lover and are curious to try the local food in different parts of Japan, then you must not miss the Nippon (which means “Japan” in Japanese) Local Specialties Fair held in this November. This event has the largest scale among all the other local specialties events and attracted more than 150,000 people last year.

This year, more than 350 exhibitors from Hokkaido to Okinawa will present their traditional local food as well as new products. Exhibitors here are not professional seller from retail companies but the actual people that make the food in their local areas. There also is a local food corner with tables and chairs prepared where you can have a rest and taste some freshly-cooked local food. That popular bear mascot “Kumamon” from Kumamoto Prefecture will also join this event!
