JNTO(Japan National Tourism Organization) has launched a website “Guide for when you are feeling ill” for foreign visitors. The website has a list of 320 medical institutions from all parts of Japan that can help tourists when they get sick while traveling in Japan.
The downloadable PDF includes a sheet that describes symptoms in foreign languages and Japanese with drawings that can be used to communicate with doctors.
The guide for using medical institutions are available in English, Chinese(traditional and simplified), Korean and Thai.
