Wonder Festival 2016[Winter] (Feb.7)

Wonder Festival 2016[Winter] will be held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, on February 7th, Sunday.

Wonder Festival is the world’s largest event of plastic figures and models held in Japan twice a year. The highlight of the event is the display and selling of the “garage kits”, which are kits of plastic models produced by both pros and amateurs.

At every Wonder Festival event, few artists that create exceptional quality models are chosen to exhibit their works at Wonder Showcase, where the works will receive special attention. Only a limited number of their works and kits will be sold at the venue.

Also, there will be booths by figures, games, and toy companies to exhibit their new products and to sell limited items for the event. At flea market section, various items from vintage and used toys and figures, to original plastic models will be sold. Cosplayers are also welcome to stroll the venue in their costumes.
